Introducing Aniya Watkins, the visionary behind Mountain Gaming. With a burning passion for Black history and justice, Aniya's mission is to inspire change through the power of gaming.

Growing up with her father incarcerated, Aniya faced challenges that fueled her determination to pursue degrees in Psychology and Black Studies (UIC) and Integrated Design, Business & Technology (USC). It was during her time at UIC that she realized the gap between Black Studies education and everyday people.

Driven by the need to make a difference, Aniya founded Mountain Gaming—a platform that creates educational and entertaining games rooted in true Black historical content. Through engaging narratives and captivating gameplay, she aims to bridge the gap, making learning enjoyable and empowering.

Aniya's journey is deeply personal. Having experienced the hardships of having an incarcerated parent, she is dedicated to supporting children in similar situations. Mountain Gaming is her way of raising funds and generating resources to provide them with brighter opportunities.
